Tata motors launched the Altroz in India on January 22, 2020 in this country with the prices price start at ₹ 5.29 Lakh and goes up to ₹ 9.34 Lakh. In this year, Tata seems to let this premium hatchback become the game-changer because in this segment, its Japanese and Korean rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz, are currently in the lead. The Altroz is the first car that built on the company's ALFA modular architecture, which gives it segment-leading boot space and good driving dynamics. The Alfa platform has also been configured to build hybrid and electric cars. Tata Altroz Exterior
In terms of exteriors, it based on the 45X concept which the company showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, which makes this premium hatchback become a stunning head-turner on the streets. Overall, it uses the latest Impact 2.0 design language of Tata. At the front, it gets a sporty grille in gloss black, flanked by sharp-looking swept-back headlamps. There's also a chrome trim that runs below the grille and the headlights, with air-dam and a pair of high-set fog lamps. Also, there are lots of other distinctive details of the exterior including split taillamps, piano black ORVM, C-pillar mounted hidden door handles (just like the Swift’s), blackened roof, integrated rear spoiler and 16-inch laser cut alloy wheels.

On the dashboard, you will find out a free-standing 7.0-inch touchscreen and a 17.78cm TFT digital instrument cluster which are the highlights of the cabin. Just like most of its rivals, its infotainment system is supported with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. In front of the driver, there will be a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel. The new Altroz comes with two options of engines. There is a BS6-compliant, 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, Revotron petrol engine with 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque. option is a BS6-compliant, 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, Revotorq turbo diesel engine that outputs 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. Both two engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
