Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Exterior
At the front, the Ciaz has a chrome-glutted grille and a wider black meshed reworked grille. The redesigned headlamps now come with LED DRLs and brand-new bumper, also with large intakes and LED fog lights. Change to the rear, the reworked LED combination tail-lamps and a slightly tweaked bumper enhance a sportier stance to the car. It has a MARUTI, so you can’t have a too high expectation on the exterior. But after all, the design is quite acceptable after the facelift.

It has three engine options in total, including a 1.5-litre K15 Smart Hybrid petrol with 105 hp and 138 Nm of torque, 1.5-litre DDiS 225 diesel with a max power of 70 hp and a max torque of 225 and 1.3-litre DDiS 200 Smart Hybrid diesel with 90 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre petrol is mated with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions, while the 1.5-litre DDiS 225 diesel and 1.3-litre DDiS 200 Smart Hybrid diesel come mated to 6-speed manual and 5-speed manual gearbox. According to Maruti, the automatic variants accounts for 17 per cent of the total sales which means the buyers still prefer the MT models.
