The new modified Mahindra TUV300 has a square appearance. It has a Mahindra iconic's grille at the front with the day-time running lamps for headlamps. Plus, there are some cladding and cladding pedals on the side. The rear and taillights are also square, along with a spare wheel cover but the reversing camera is available in the top-spec version. It is powered by an m-Hawk diesel engine with a 2-stage turbocharger and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Official Claim
The ARAI test data is 18.49 km/l, which is acceptable since Mahindra TUV300 only provides diesel engine with manual transmission.
Actual Mileage in the City
However, our city road test results are around 14-16 km/l, which within a reasonable gap with the official data but the actual mileage has to depend on the car situations and the ways to drive.
Actual Mileage on the Highway
The mileage test results on the highway are about 18 km/l. But the combined high-speed mileage will be 17-20 km/l according to the TUV300 owners' feedbacks. Having said that, its high-speed fuel efficiency is already up to the authoritative level on average.
