Overall Information
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has become a long-term competitor with Honda City. So, we will launch a comparison between from the parameters of Ride Quality, Exterior, Interior, Ground Clearance, Colours, Specifications & Features, On-Road Price, Mileage, etc. Just for your reference.
Ride Quality
- Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
The ride quality of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz could be one of the most serious problems that stop people from buying it. Yes, you can have a spacious cabin inside which means you will have lots of legroom. Siting inside would not make you feel unharmonious and you will have a smooth linear acceleration and light handling. However, you cannot resist the bother from the extremely noisy and unsettled engine. You can even hear every single bump and have the feeling of sitting on the running machine. Everything under the hood is so obvious that would take the driving comfort away. And the high speed ride quality is bouncy and unstable.
- Honda City
The new generation of Honda City doesn' t offer new engine and gearbox options, which means you will receive the same powerful linear acceleration performance as its previous version. The Honda City has managed to improve its NVH levels and once you set off, the feeling of smooth and strong acceleration is quite obvious. However, one bad thing about its engine is that there is a slight turbo lag. But luckily, there is one good thing that helps reduce such discomfort, which is its gearbox. The gearbox would never make you feel the lack of power. Besides, the City has successfully strike to a balance between high and low speed performance thanks to the stiff springs.
