Comparison Review: Maruti Suzuki Celerio vs. Hyundai Santro

General Introduction

Since it was first launched in February, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio has played an extremely important role in enhancing Maruti Suzuki' s position in the entry-level hatchback segment in India. It has accepted a mid-life upgrade in 2017 both in its exterior and interior. As for the Hyundai Santro, it is quite well-loaded in features. We are going to launch a comparison between them from the following parameters:

Ride Quality

  • Maruti Suzuki Celerio

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio enjoys a good ride quality. The engine has a quick and direct response, which would offer you a good linear acceleration. Besides, thanks to the light kerb weight, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio owns a light control and handling, which makes the Celerio easy to make a turn. Both the high speed and low speed performance are stable.

  • Hyundai Santro

For Hyundai Santro, it is an easy-to-drive hatchback. It is very suitable to drive the Santro in the city with light steering, light control, light clutch and smooth gearbox. However, the Santro doesn' t offer the adjustable, high-set front driver seats, which could be a big problem that would keep bothering you when on a long-term trip. Another problem is the high-speed performance of Santro is unstable.
