Glanza provides two gasoline engines with a 5MT or CVT gearbox. The1.2L K12B engine has the maximum output of 83PS horsepower at 6000Rpm and the torque is 113Nm at 4200Rpm, while another 1.2L K12C Dual-Jet engine with a mild-hybrid system has the maximum output of 82.9PS at 6000Rpm and the torque is 113Nm at 4200Rpm.

Steering and Handling

The front suspension used for Glanza is McPherson strut and torsion beam is for the rear, these make Glanza has more stable, flexible and acceptable manipulating when driving. In addition, its suspensions have done well in absorbing vibrations, especially on the bumpy road.



From the ARAI tested results, the mileage for the CVT version is 19.56 km/l, V (MT) is 21.01 km/l and G series (MT with Smart Hybrid) can reach about 23.87 km/l.

The exterior of Toyota Glanza uses the Heartect platform, which designed the Toyota's similar car around the world. For the front, Glanza has a Toyota iconic inverted trapezoidal grating which similar to Etios and Liva along with the three-dimensional and delicate chrome grille.
